Our award-winning, cutting-edge system measures the amount of sunlight and provides the appropriate amount of supplemental light.

We provide the required amount of light to meet the crop’s requirements, but no more than that. This ensures consistent crop production while saving energy when possible.

Our lighting control system uses a compact, powerful industrial microcomputer. This computer takes readings from the light sensor, does all required calculations, produces a signal to control your lights, and generates a local wi-fi network to give you access to the data and user interface.

Our estimator calculates the energy cost using different lighting control strategies: the Candidus adaptive lighting controller, simple threshold control, and turning the lights on for a set number of hours each day. The calculator will show how much energy is used and the monthly cost to run grow lights using these different lighting strategies. Estimates can be done for any U.S. location.
