Job Description
We are looking for an experienced marketing manager for our group of companies based in Austria, which operates worldwide in the field of cannabis. Our companies cover a variety of business areas, especially in the field of medicinal cannabis.
You will be responsible for developing, executing and overseeing the marketing strategy and activities as well as the sales strategy of all our channels.
As Head of Marketing, you will work in close collaboration with senior management and other departments to implement the company’s overall strategy and ensure product, brand and sales growth.
Core tasks / areas of responsibility:
- Overall conception and branding of the group of companies and their areas, implementation of layout and creative concepts
- Evaluation of the marketability of the current and planned products and/or services
- Market research and observation of product development at direct competitors
- Definition of the target group and planning of targeted marketing campaigns
- Budgeting of marketing measures
- Implementation, quality assurance, documentation and evaluation of the marketing campaigns
- Construction and further development of BI reporting
- Creation of sales strategies to expand the customer base and reach to expand the sales of the group of companies
- Maintaining long-term customer relationships, responsibility for communication with customers and support
- Management, steering and control of cooperation with external service providers/agencies in the marketing and sales area
- Cooperation with media and market research institutes
- Overall conception of the external appearance in the form of business premises (franchise), trade fairs and conferences, as well as other marketing or sales-related events
Requirement profile and minimum qualification:
- Completed relevant studies (BSc.)
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position in marketing or sales
- Experience in leadership, especially in building and managing teams
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market, ideally also the cannabis market, and their target groups is an advantage
- Experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies for multiple sales channels
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, SEO, SEM, email marketing, etc.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in handling marketing data
- Excellent knowledge of German and English
- Excellent IT and graphics skills (esp. Microsoft Office)
- Excellent organizational skills, highly motivated and result-oriented
- Creativity and the ability to identify innovative solutions
