CANNABIS KITCHEN TECHNICIAN
710 Labs is seeking a Kitchen Technician who is energetic, proactive, and communicative to join our growing team! This position will report to the Kitchen Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Following SOPs needed for maximum output from the kitchen
- Helping improve the process daily – always ensuring safety, quality, compliance
- Weigh and store finished products ensuring that all pertinent information is recorded in logs
- Measure ingredients and products accurately so that optimal levels of production are met
- Quality control
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations through guidance from a supervisor
- Cleaning and maintaining all equipment and material
- Other duties as assigned including, but not limited to assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional work such as harvesting, trimming, packaging, cleaning, and light maintenance as needed throughout the facility
Qualifications
- Experience in a licensed cannabis edible production facility preferred
- Servsafe Certified
- MED Employee License
- Effective listening and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Prior cannabis and or food industry knowledge
- Demonstrate an adequate understanding of production machinery and equipment
- Demonstrated ability to utilize computer and basic technology knowledge skills preferred.
- For extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking through the workday.
- Must be able to exert well-paced mobility and perform repetitive tasks for up to 8 hours in length.
- Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Compensation And Benefits
- Pay range: $18.00 – $20.00/hour
- Benefit packages include medical, dental, vision, Life/AD&D,401K with company match, paid time off, and holidays.
Please note that the regulations and laws of The State of Colorado require persons working onsite at a cannabis facility to be at least 21 years of age.
