• Company Swag We are looking for a Packaging Supervisor who is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Packaging department with the guidance of the Packaging Manager. This is a Full Time position in St. Louis, MO, based out of our cannabis production warehouse. In this role you will…
• Directly supervise assigned technicians and Packaging Leads.
• Follow production management and packaging SOP’s, and ensure processes are in line with state and local compliance.
• Supervises production floor activities and ensures organization and accuracy of production batches • Input data, and ensure all data is accurate; implement corrective actions to resolve discrepancies. • Maintain active knowledge of incoming or outgoing inventory, and inventory levels on hand by communicating with department heads.
• Manage converting products from the Medical Licenses to the Adult- Use licenses; manage any other internal transfers of product.
• Managing packaging project management of finished goods & WIP in and out of the vault; coordinate with Inventory Manager as needed.
• Maintain control over the facility vaults; ensure vaults are maintained in an organized and efficient manner.
• Manager and execute the production schedule and priorities assigned by Packaging Manager or other department leadership.
• Work with Post Production Manager, Lab team and Sales Team regarding packaging, inventory levels and order fulfillment execution.
• Maintain high level of cleanliness of all packaging equipment, production areas and ensure sanitation practices concerning the handling of products.
• Supervisor assigned technicians to ensure internal policies are adhered to and production goals are met; Perform correction to resolve discrepancies.
• Create METRC packages for finished goods and ensure data is accurate; input METRC data on a daily basis.
• Maintain compliance with local and state regulations, company policies and SOPs for both inventory and packaging of product. Skills and experience you have…
• 2+ years of leadership experience in Production, Manufacturing Management or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of safety and security requirements; willingness to learn state and local laws pertaining to medical and recreational cannabis
• Display good judgment in the face of changing priorities with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks; Strong decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision.
• Excellent organization skills, ability to develop and implement operational best practices.
• High attention to detail, and experience inputting and reporting on high volumes of data.
• Experience directing teams of employees required.
• Ability to use and manage METRC; experience using METRC preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with regulating bodies.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to obtain & maintain required state licenses based on work location. MUST OBTAIN AGENT ID. Our mission is to share our love of cannabis with the world.
