(Interim) Human Resources Manager (Køge, Denmark)

Bedrocan International B.V. is looking to hire an experienced HR Manager who will operate on a tactical and operational level to help set up its operations site in Denmark. The role will be located in Køge and will initially be for three to four days per week starting April 2023. The HR Manager will report hierarchically to the Plant Manager and functionally to the HR Manager of Bedrocan International in the Netherlands.

Bedrocan International is an experienced pharmaceutical raw material producer of legal medicinal cannabis and since 2003, via its subsidiary Bedrocan Nederland B.V., has been the exclusive supplier of medicinal cannabis to the Office of Medicinal Cannabis in the Netherlands.

What You Will Do

Because we want to start production on 1 October 2023, you will mainly be engaged in recruiting and selecting staff in the first six months. To attract staff, you will draw up a plan of action and implement it together with the Plant Manager and QA Manager. You are also responsible for laying an HR foundation and setting up an HR administration exclusive payroll processing. You have to assess whether the HR policies of Bedrocan International among other things regarding remuneration, performance review, onboarding and business travel, can be applied in Denmark, If not, you have to adapt them to what makes Bedrocan a best employer in Denmark. You are also responsible for reviewing Danish translations for internal and external communications purposes.

What We Ask From You

• Availability for 3 to 4 days per week as of April, 1st of 2023;

• You are an all-rounder with more than 20 years of experience;

• You have experience with a start-up organization;

• Danish is your mother tongue;

• You have a good command of English spoken and written;

• Preferably living in the area of Køge;

• Creativity to recruit staff efficiently;

• Accuracy in, among other things, drawing up employment contracts and setting up a personnel administration;

• You are easily approachable;

• You can easily get in touch with the management and the workplace.
