WholesomeCo is leading the movement to normalize cannabis as a natural path to health and wellness. Various medical cannabis services are offered, including statewide delivery to 99% of Utah’s population, as well as retail, drive-thru, online pick-up services through its pharmacy in West Bountiful, an in-house built app for patients, innovative technology resources, cannabis cultivation, and cannabis processing of our constantly growing line of WholesomeCo branded products. Our company is in search of a Processing Supervisor to be a hands-on leader within the processing trim team. This key employee will report directly to the Post Harvest Manager.

Responsibilities include:

    • Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork
    • Solve difficult problems in creative way
    • Take direction from management as special projects demand
    • Ability to lead multiple team’s of Processing Agents (PAs)
    • Multitask to perform the duties of the position in an efficient manner
    • Maintain compliance and report any compliance issues immediately
    • Follow safety guidelines and PPE requirements
    • Follow GMP guidelines
    • Enforce a clean and safe workspace throughout each shift
    • Reconcile inventory system(s) at the end of each shift
    • Have a good understanding Utah’s Rules and Regulations surrounding the production of medical cannabis, particularly:
      • R68-27 Cannabis Cultivation
      • R68-28 Cannabis Processing
      • R68-29 Quality Assurance Testing on Cannabis
      • Ensure that all Processing Agents (PAs) are following standard operating procedures for each process being performed
        • Lead the crew of PAs to meet all production deadlines set by management
          • Keep pace with the harvest schedule (every 21 days) in trimming, packaging, testing, and having the whole harvest flower products available for delivery (AFD) in that timeframe, being ready for the next harvest without delay. This includes scaling as we increase our flower production per room.
          • Engage in industry education and professional development, as needed
          • Lead the team’s of PAs during flower breakdown
          • Coach the processing team to breakdown and trim flower quickly and efficiently, showing an increase in their performance over time
          • Weigh, count, and/or record breakdown and trimming information with 100% accuracy
          • Able to work on weekends as requested
          • Other job duties as requested

      Qualifications:

          • At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
          • Proper employment documentation
          • Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain proper licensing with state agencies to be able to handle medical cannabis
          • Cannabis industry production experience
          • Experience in horticulture, agriculture, or manufacturing preferred but not necessary
          • Ability to work and be adaptable under pressure in a fast-paced environment
          • Self-motivated, methodical, versatile, mechanically inclined
          • Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds
          • Ability to communicate effectively via, email, phone calls, text, or any other methods frequently used within the company
          • Reliable transportation to and from work
          • Ability to work beyond regularly scheduled hours of work as needed to be sure production deadlines are met
          • Strong computer skills such as email, word documents, and spreadsheets
          • Ability to bend, stoop, stand, walk, reach, and climb for extended periods of time

      Education:

          • Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
          • Bachelor degree in horticulture, agriculture, or plant science is desirable but not necessary

      Environmental Conditions:

      • Potential exposure to dusts, odors, high and low temperatures, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, commonly used solvents and volatile organic compounds, allergens, pollen, plant pathogens, and other environmental variables.
