Business Description

CONCEPT Data Systems GmbH was founded in Graz in 1992.

Initial projects were warehouse management, budget control and ordering, among other things. The tools used at this time were C/C++, Clipper and dBase databases. The systems ran on MS-DOS computers with Novell NetWare as the network operating system.

More complex tasks and changes in the technical environment led to the use of new tools. Since the mid 90s Concept Data Systems has been developing client/server applications with MS SQL Server, Oracle, etc. as database management systems. In the meantime in addition to classical desktop and client/server applications, web applications are also being developed. The preferred development tools today are C#, C++, Centura, and VB.net.

The number of employees is continually rising. An employee has been working at the Hannover location (Germany) since 2002. A team has been working in the Netherlands since 2005.
